The hubby's nose job.

My husband is currently having surgery.  He had a such a deviated septum that his snoring sounded like a wounded wildebeest, night, after night, after night.  I was convinced that animal conservationists would be circling the house in the middle of the night, trying to find this poor animal and put it out of its misery.  The real miserable person was me because I had to sleep next to the creature.  Snoring doesn't bother the person who snores, it bothers the person who has to listen to it.

The surgeon came out and told me that he did fine during the surgery and now he's whining for a cup of coffee.  Good grief... I love him and all, but doesn't it seem like men take things way worse than women?  I could have any number of illnesses and I still manage to make breakfast, get my son to school, put my youngest son in any number of time outs, get the groceries, pick up aforementioned son from school and make dinner.  All with a fever of 103.  My husband will get a hangnail and he's calling in sick to work.  Sweet fancy moses.  I will be sympathetic to him, of course... after all, he did just have a pretty nasty surgery.  But after the recovery period, it's back to sassing my husband as usual.  I hope I don't forget how to do it.

Alrighty... I'm off to get my hubs a cup of coffee... and myself some earplugs and aspirin.

I love all the comments I get from you! Because of an insane amount of spam, I had to turn off anonymous commenting but I'd love it if you'd comment anyway!
