My Walgreens plan for June 5th, 2011

Ya gotta have a plan.

For tomorrow, I'm starting with 3 $10 RRs and one $1.50 RR.  A few weeks ago I had around $60 in RRs and while I loved all the freebies, the amount of transactions I had to do in a week was getting ridiculous.  So I'm going to try to keep my RR amount around $30 or so.  Anything more is a bit too overwhelming for me. I'm a dainty girl with coupon anxiety, what can I say?

There is at least one moneymaker this week at Walgreens, so I'm planning 4 transactions total.  They will go something like this:

Transaction #1:
1 - Omega Fish Oil @ $10
4 - Chex Mix (my children eat this like it's the last thing they'll ever have. I can't keep it in the house.) @ $5.32
SUBTOTAL: $15.32
Use the following coupons:
$10 Calcium RR from the week of 5/29
$2 Omega Fish Oil coupon from website
$1/2 Chex Mix
$1/2 Chex Mix
$0.99 Walgreens coupon for Chex Mix
My total out-of-pocket will be $0.33 before tax and I'll get a $10RR for the Fish Oil, making it an even RR roll for me.

Transaction #2:
1 - Omega Fish Oil @ $10
1 - Reach Toothbrush & Reach Floss @ $5
1 - Sobe Lifewater @ $0.99
1 - Snickers bar @ $0.49 (with in-ad coupon)
SUBTOTAL: $16.48
Use the following coupons:
$10 Calcium RR
$1.50 BC Goody RR from week of 5/29
$2.50/2 Reach coupon
$2 Omega Fish Oil coupon
My total out-of-pocket will be $0.48 before tax and I'll get a $10 RR for the fish oil, $3 RR for the Reach, and a $0.99 RR for the Sobe Lifewater.

Transaction #3:
1 - Omega Fish Oil @ $10
1 - Reach Toothbrush & Reach Floss @ $5
SUBTOTAL: $15.00
Use the following coupons:
$10 Calcium RR
$2 Omega Fish Oil coupon
$2.50/2 Reach coupon (there are two items, one toothbrush and one floss, so the 'off 2' is okey-dokey)
My total out-of-pocket will be $0.50 before tax and I'll get a $10 RR for the fish oil and a $3 RR for the Reach.

Transaction #4: (This one is to use an RR and because my kids love these.  OK, so do I.)
3 - Pringles @ $4
SUBTOTAL: $4.00
Use the following coupons:
$3 Reach RR from above transaction
$1/3 Pringles coupon
My total out of pocket will be $0.00 before tax and I won't get anything back except Pringle-y goodness.

I will get over $50 worth of products and I'll pay $1.31 before tax.  I'll start with $31.50 in RRs and I'll end up with $33.99 after I use one of the Reach RRs to buy Pringles.  Sounds like a good shopping day to me! My husband is always trying new supplements so I'm sure he'll try the fish oil too see what it does for him.  I keep telling him that if he takes too many vitamins, he's going to pickle himself.  If he doesn't use it, I'll throw them in the donation box for our local pantry. I'll let you know how it goes!
