The Girl, The Blogger, The Legend. In Her Own Mind.

It occurred to me, as I was eating my fourth helping something extremely fattening but awesomely delicious, that my readers don't know much about me.  Oh sure, they know I'm super-duper awesome... and thrifty... and crafty... but what about the girl behind the blog?  Here are five things about me that you will be thrilled to know.  Or it might not affect you at all, but I'm saying it anyway.

I'm a sucker for singer-songwriters.  James Taylor is my all-time favorite musician because his songs aren't just songs, they're poetry.  Listen to the song "Like Everyone She Knows" and tell me he's not a poet.

I suffer from high self-esteem.  That's according to my husband, anyway.  I just think I'm awesome and completely self-aware.

For all of my 'I'm super awesome' babble, I have just as many moments of feeling like a failure.  I'm not perfect... but I'll never admit it. :)

My favorite thing to eat is California Rolls.  Paired with a tall glass of creme soda, and I'm one happy girl.

I was a cheerleader in high school.  For the purposes of this blog, I will insist that the uniform still fits... but just between you and me, I couldn't get that thing over my ankle today. Sad.

That's me.  There's more, of course.  But I have to maintain some mystery to keep my readers intrigued.  I learned that from every Stephen King novel ever written.
