I'm Speechless, Except For All The Stuff I've Planned To Say.

I read lots of blogs. Lots. And often, I see bloggers that get these little awards... 'The Super-Duper Blogger Award'... 'The Best Smelling Blogger Award'... 'The Blogger That Can Fit The Most Marshmallows In Their Mouth'.

I may have made that up.

But I've never gotten one.  I would think to myself, 'am I not awesome enough?' or 'why can't I fit more marshmallows in my mouth? WHY?'  But I always resigned myself to believing that one day, I would be nominated.

Today is my day.

I'm versatile!

7 Things About Me

1. My parents are both deaf. I am fluent in American Sign Language and am amazed how often that skill comes in handy in my life.

2. My favorite smell and taste is coconut, but I don't like it in desserts.  I don't like the texture of it, just the taste.

3. I'm the least photogenic person you will ever meet.  The only good picture that has ever been taken of me was by a professional photographer who had years of experience and expensive equipment.

4. I fancy myself to be a funny person.  Often, I'm the only one laughing.

5. Before I stayed at home with my kids, I was an office manager.  Sometimes, I stand in the file cabinet section at Staples, so my heart will go pitter-patter.

6. I'm a compulsive list-maker.  The list of things I have/want to do should be completed in about a billion years.

7. You could call me a feminist, but I don't think women should be treated equal to men. I think we should be treated a lot better than men. :)
