That's what the elves at Santa's workshop call Christmas. The big show.
I feel like I've run a marathon. I've never run one actually, but I'm sure that my feelings of exhaustion, sore muscles, aching back, hot glue burns and bloating from candy overload are all similar to the post-marathon feelings. I could be wrong.
Here's how our Halloween shaped up!
This is our most popular tombstone. One lady made it her facebook profile picture last year. We Illinoisans have a sense of humor.
I like this one.
This one makes me laugh.
See that witch? I carved that. I rock.
The cemetery fence was a great addition this year.
The fog was a great effect. Please don't tell my husband though, his ego is large enough.
Jonathan helped put the suckers in the fraidy-cat pumpkin before trick-or-treating.
And Henry got a head.
It took a couple of hours to put it all up and about 15 minutes to take it all down. People loved the display! I need a nap.
Tomorrow, I'm starting the 24 Days of Thanksgiving. Yes, I just finished a series of blog posts and am exhausted and I'm starting again tomorrow and I sometimes have run-on sentences. I'll see you tomorrow!

Oh. No. You are NOT having 24 days of Thanksgiving. Are you? And are you for real? I'm suffering greatly here from feelings of inadequacy.
ReplyDeleteAmazing tombstones! Very creative, for sure! I wish you were my neighbor. Well, I guess you kind of are since I live in Indiana lol, but I get so excited when others decorate for Halloween as much as we do. Our neighbors didn't do much when we first moved here. Then we popped all our decorations up, and slowly year after year they are starting to come around with more and more participating. Nothing like this though. I can't wait to see what else you have in store!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to have found you. You are amazing, like me! But you are slightly more amazing because I would not be doing a blog every day of October, now that is just crazy.
