We are so close to Halloween, I can taste it. It tastes like taffy. The kids have picked out their costumes and are ready for the big night!
I posted here about the costume I made for Jonathan's school party and parade, but that's not what he's trick-or-treating in. You see, he feels very restricted by the rules set forth for the parade. He's an individualist. Also, he wanted to be Spiderman.
Noah wasn't feeling well this day... not that it really matters, since he always makes this face whether he's feeling well or not. He's a cantankerous little thing.
He picked out a football player. Actually, no, that's not what happened. He would see a costume that he liked, but it was in the big kids size... so I'd find THE EXACT SAME COSTUME in his size and say, "Here you go!" and he'd say, "No."
Cantankerous.
We went through that for about 10 minutes. Finally, I grabbed two that he kept coming back to and made him choose. He chose the football player.
Jonathan is much easier... he wanted Spiderman. He found Spiderman. We bought Spiderman. Done.
Of course, the problem with buying Halloween costumes more than a few days before Halloween is that they want to wear them everyday.
I'm ready for November to get here.

How cute.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Great boy costumes, at least Noah is smiling in the second pic with his helmet on.
