Today's project is simple. It barely requires words. Which is great, because I went to a rocking concert last night and I can barely speak.
Those "Sesame Street on Ice" fans really know how to party.
Take one pumpkin and one small mum. This one had sustained an injury, which is why I wanted to put it in the pumpkin in the first place.
Measure the top of the mum pot and mark a hole on the pumpkin for the same size.
Have your bearded husband cut the head off. Do you see the beard? Gracious.
Have your un-bearded son (or daughter) spoon out the insides.
Rinse the pumpkin well. Give it a good drink, it needs to be hydrated.
Plop mum into pumpkin. Plop. When you water it, water the whole thing, it keeps the pumpkin looking fresh.
Put them in front of your wooden lightpost. Admire all the work that other people did for you.
Happy fall!

Another great idea!
ReplyDeleteThis was actually nice to see a step-by-step instead of just a picture. Come see how to make a yarn flower!
