I have been planning to do a Halloween craft with the kids for a couple of weeks now, but I couldn't really think of something that would be fun for them to do and thrifty for me to purchase.
I was over-thinking it. I do that sometimes.
I bought some mini pumpkins ($0.66 each, what a deal!), grabbed the kids' paints, and let them create!
I love the look on Noah's face.
I gave them the option to use their fingers, but Noah doesn't like to have messy hands. He's very particular.
Jonathan takes his artwork very seriously. He told me that when he grows up, he wants to be an artist at night and a dentist during the day. Which is great, because I'll get my teeth cleaned for free and free artwork for the walls, too. Jackpot.
This was the closest I could get to a smile from Noah. He's been a little sick, so he is in no mood to indulge me.
Jonathan always has a smile for me though. And you can still see the kitty nose and whiskers I painted on him earlier.
I didn't need to spend much money to make them happy... they loved painting their pumpkins!

You have two cute little pumpkins there, Priscilla, and they painted some cute little pumpkins, too.
