Disney Is A-OK In My Book.

I found this little tip on Pinterest and was entirely too skeptical.  But, it was worth a try.

My copy of The Muppet Christmas Carol 'mysteriously' became broken.  I say 'mysteriously' because although I saw a certain two-year old break it, he insisted it wasn't his fault. Hmmph.  As I mentioned in this post, this movie is one of my favorites.
Borked.

I saw on a Pinterest pin that Disney replaces DVDs.  Which is unbelievable.  So I went to the website and checked it out.

Send in the broken disc... $6.95 for shipping... and they send you a new one?  'Tis folly, I thought to myself.  But I sent it in anyway.

I am no longer a skeptic.  For this I tell you, o readers of mine... they sent me a new disc WITHIN TEN DAYS.
There's a limit of one replacement per title per year... so if my copy of The Muppet Christmas Carol 'mysteriously' breaks again... someone's going to pay.

  1. I got all excited when I read this, we have a broken Finding Nemo, but they don't seem to do it in the UK :(

  2. I just saw Muppet Christmas Carol for the first time this past Christmas. My two little ones made me watch it every day with them for three weeks. My four year old walks around saying, "The Marley's were dead to begin with." The other day I hit his legs against the car door to get snow off of his boots. Asher giggled and said, "Thanks for making me a part of this... giggle Rizzo says that." I love that he understood that that movie quote worked in the situation:)

I love all the comments I get from you! Because of an insane amount of spam, I had to turn off anonymous commenting but I'd love it if you'd comment anyway!
