OK, so I am bitter.
At any rate, spring came early this year. So, I did what any crafter would do... I made a wreath.
I found this pin on Pinterest and then gathered my supplies.
I had some trouble finding the green Fun Fur. Michael's had Fun Fur, but not in green... I scored it at Jo-Ann's Fabrics.
I wrapped the Fun Fur around the wreath mold... I think the original creator in the pin I used must have used two of the packs of Fun Fur because hers was pretty fluffy... I prefer my lawns mowed nicely, so I just used one pack. After that, I poured out my flower embellishments, found at Michael's on clearance...
And then I stuck a pearlized straight pin through the middle...
And stuck it into the wreath. Easy-schmeasy.
And of course, whenever I can, I utilize child labor...
And we just kept a-pinning.
Why, it looks just like an English garden. As if I'd know.
I added a happy little sign for the middle and put it up! I may have gotten ripped off on winter, but I'm going to enjoy spring until summer smacks me in the face mid-April.
Happy spring!

What a cute wreath! That green stuff really does look like grass on there. I don't know if I've ever seen those little flower things either. You made me laugh about summer in mid-April. It seems that we're headed that way, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteCute wreath! I feel ripped off by the lack of snow too. The rest of the UK got loads, here in Cornwall... nada!
ReplyDeleteI like the less fluffy wreath too. Cute and simple, thanks for sharing.!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! Very refreshing! Just what spring brings!
ReplyDeleteI really like it! And it so much reminds of spring!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I really like this too. I love the fur and the tiny delicate flowers. Great job - so glad you shared at our party.
