Under-The-Bed Storage

A while ago, I did this project... I turned an old and broken-down dresser into a little armoire for the kiddo's clothes.

I need to take a better picture of it with the new camera... at any rate, it's working swimmingly.  But there were three other drawers in that dresser and I had plans for them, too.

I had the hubster remove the hardware and sand them.

I got free paint at Ace Hardware this past weekend... HAVE YOU GOTTEN YOUR FREE PAINT? Check out their facebook page, it's going on again this Saturday!

I painted the drawers with my free paint...

This paint was pretty good... they're touting it as a paint and primer in one.  When I painted the dresser itself, it took like... four coats.  These drawers only took two.  I'm pretty impressed with this paint so far.  Once the paint was dry, I had the hubs put casters on the bottoms.

And then I put new hardware on the front.  That was the only cost for this project, the casters and drawer pulls.  Love it.

And I shoved it under the bed.  I put some of the kids' clothes in there, mostly their summer stuff, and since it was 80 degrees here today, I think I need to pull it all out.

Voila! Easy under-the-bed storage!
