Oreo Bars: My Prayers Have Been Answered

So, you know how when you're eating Oreos, you're saying to yourself, "man, these are great... if only there was a way to shove more Oreos in my mouth at one time"

Our prayers have been answered.

I've had this pin pegged for a few days now and I finally pulled the culinary trigger... there are only three ingredients:

Oreos, marshmallows and butter.  It's heaven's grocery list.

Take the 15 oz package of Oreos and crush 'em up.  You could do it Pilgrim-style and use a rolling pin and a Ziploc bag (I'm fairly certain the Pilgrims invented Ziploc bags) but I used the ol' food processor.

So, I'm no marketing expert, but wouldn't this make a great cereal?  Listen up, Nabisco...

Melt the 10 oz bag of marshmallows with the butter.  Once that's done, mix it with your cereal cookie crumbs.  Line a 8"x8" pan with parchment or wax paper.

Dump the sticky mixture into the pan.  Smooth it out as best as you can... there are points for neatness.

I'm going to be honest here, it doesn't look great right now.

Ooooooooh... now it's looking pretty good.  So I ate one... and it was like 15 Oreos were in my mouth at once.  And that's never happened before, believe me, I've tried.  Pour yourself a glass of milk and let the sugar coma wash over you.
