The original source is The Hungry Housewife and this is so simple, it's easy to make anytime. You'll need:
1 can of crescent rolls, 8 count
6 tblsp butter, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tblsp butter, melted
1/4 cup plus 2 tblsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Unroll the crescents and lay them on your baking sheet. I use a silicon mat because they're awesome.
Mix the softened butter, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
Stir it up nicely. If you have a toddler helping you, he or she will stick their finger in this and you will sigh about it.
Spread the mixture over the crescents.
Roll up the crescents and put the pointy crescent end on the bottom.
Bake those at 375 degrees for about ten minutes. While they're baking and filling your home with yummy smells, mix together the melted butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Put this mixture into an extremely fancy piping bag... mine was made by Ziploc and looks like a baggie. OK, it is a baggie. Cut the end of your fancy piping bag to drizzle the goodness.
Take them out of the oven and smell them. THEY SMELL AWESOME. Drizzle your icing. Watch your family fall all over themselves to eat them.
Yum.

I swear, I can smell them over here. They look delicious.
