This is the largest problem in my life. I have it pretty good.
But this time, I found the brackets I liked! And they were 50% off, so I got two brackets for $8. BOOM. (That's the sound I make when I get happy about a purchase)
I had the hubs put them up...
He's all man and all mine.
I got a piece of pine from Lowe's that was already cut to the size I need. THIS WAS DESTINY.
I painted it and put it up... and I think the hubster was happy because there was another surface for me to put stuff. He called it 'brick-a-brack'.
Who knew some $8 shelf brackets would make me so happy?

Looks great. I love the shelf brackets and the shelf and all the stuff on it. Now, how often will you get up there to dust :)
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I will have to try this one!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I have something similar pinned (somewhere????) putting the shelf and brackets above a door. Now I'm just eyeing up all my doorways to see which one it would look best on.
ReplyDeleteOh, honey. I need your "man" to make me happy. Just kidding. Well, sort of. I had a beautiful set of brackets purchased at Goodwill, of course. I could never get hubby to hang them so I gave them back to Goodwill. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteYours look great. I would love another space for "brick or brack". hehehe Funny that your "man" talks like that.
Very cute. Might have to do this in the kids' rooms. They have a lot of brick-a-brack, too!
