31 Days of Halloween - DIY Candy Tote Bag

Every year, the kids use those plastic pumpkin pails to collect their trick-or-treat candy.  And every year, my oldest son calls those pails 'lame'.

I blame his father for this.

So, in the spirit of not being lame, I found a great tutorial for making a tote bag.  I found some Halloween fabric that wasn't lame, and sewed 'em up.

These were pretty easy to make, even for a novice seamstress like myself... we used one at a parade to test the candy-holding ability, with good results:

  1. Totally not lame at all! They turned out great. I don't like those plastic pails either. The handles always break 1/2 way through TOT'ing!

  3. They turned out beautifully! My son told me our Halloween decorations and bags were lame, too. Sigh.

I love all the comments I get from you! Because of an insane amount of spam, I had to turn off anonymous commenting but I'd love it if you'd comment anyway!
