Am I the only one who frets about where to store eyeballs for Halloween? I mean, I need them somewhere close by... but not just in some box somewhere. What's a girl to do? Let's use that apothecary jar, shall we?
First, if you don't have any eyeballs handy, you can make some with ping pong balls and some black acrylic paint.
I've gotta be honest, they're already freaking me out. I drew some red veins on the sides with a red Sharpie.
And then, I piled 'em in my jar. Aren't they lovely?
I have to say though, the great thing about ping pong balls is that they are kind of see-through... so when you add a glow stick to the mix...
Glowing eyeballs. Awesome-sauce.

The glow stick is just the final touch of elegance! You continue to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteI just happen to have some ping pong balls laying around and 1 empty apothecary jar waiting to be filled!
ReplyDeleteI just love the added glow stick, can't wait to try this!
Oh, I have GOT to do this for our (5 and 8 year old) grandsons who are coming out this weekend. Wouldn't they love walking into their bedroom at night and seeing all those glowing eyeballs staring back at them! Love it!! :-D
ReplyDeleteThe glow stick really makes your eyeballs look creepy. It's a good thing those adorable angry birds of yours aren't afraid of spooky things, like glowing eyeballs :)
