I'm not a professional camerawoman.
At any rate, remember that ginormous mirror from Goodwill I made over? I love that mirror... I love it so much, I knew it had to be part of my Halloween festivities.
I took some contact paper and cut out a ghost shape, big enough for the mirror. I cut out the eyes and the mouth.
Why, it's already spooky. I used some of my matte spray paint and gave it a good coat. Once it was dried, I stuck it to the mirror. Now, a ghost lives in my Goodwill mirror. I've named him Ira.
So simple!

Ira the Ghost. Awesome! (That reminds me of a line from one of my favorite movies, When Harry Met Sally: "Next thing you know, you're singing Surrey with a Fringe on Top in front of Ira!"
ReplyDeleteI love it!! Just the other day I was telling Jim I wanted to find a way to put a ghost "in" the mirror on our mantle. You only spray painted the ghost and not the whole mirror, so the ghost is temporary correct? YAY!!! Excited, need to go buy some contact paper! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHaha. That is cute! I'll have to do that before the little grandsons come out again. They'll love it!
ReplyDeleteI've never met a ghost named Ira before. I find him quite charming.
ReplyDeleteGreat project, that Ira, what a guy! My 'Mirror Ghost' is made differently, maybe I should post that sooner, rather than later.... It's nice to have options. *grins*
ReplyDeleteSeriously I let my ice cream completely melt while I ran into the other room to find contact paper and scissors. Your a bad influence or maybe good for my diet.
