Look no further.
I found this on Pinterest, see the original pin here. Such an easy project but so pretty in the end. Grab a foam wreath of your preferred size and your mountain of ribbon. I'm using black 'cause that's what makes it spooky.
I hope no pictures are needed, because I didn't take them. Sad face. Cut the ribbon into 12" lengths. Only cut a few to start with because you might want your wreath smaller or bigger and you can adjust the ribbon to make it just right. To assemble the wreath, tie the ribbon around the wreath in double knots.
Really, that's it. I added some googly eyes to mine 'cause I like 'em.
I love how it turned out! And it was mindless work too, so I watched some terrible movies on Netflix. I love a good terrible movie.
See you tomorrow with another project!

This is absolutely adorable! Great job. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Lovin' the googly eyes!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute and super simple! My kind of project! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove this. The eyes make it!
ReplyDeleteI just so happy to have a mound of ribbons. Sadly, they aren't all black :). This turned out adorable...did you hear that, or are you crunching :). Really great job, the googly eyes are the perfect addition.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Of course, most of the ribbons at my house are green, because that's what my daughter always asks me to buy. I'll have to scare up (get it? har har) some black ribbon. Great project and I can't wait to watch bad TV, too!
ReplyDeleteI went to Michael's looking for a fall wreath yesterday, and they were all plastic and $30+. Yuck. This I like. I might even be able to do it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute wreath; made me smile!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I "shared" this on Facebook and already, a friend of mine said she was going to make this!
ReplyDeleteSo many wreath ideas, do few doors..... This is a great one!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I think I may have to make another wreath now. I was working on a fall one, alas it is still on the craft table. May have to shelf that and grab me some googly eyes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great idea. I did it! It was both as mindless and as pretty as you suggested. I went more Fall than Halloween, and here is mine: http://www.flotsamofthemind.com/2012/10/ribbons-and-bows.html?spref=fb
