The Wisest Kid in the World

I don't like to brag.  OK, that's totally false, I enjoy bragging.  I think I'm just super-duper and I tell everyone around me all about it.  That could be why the party invitations get lost in the mail, but whatever.  Anyhoo, I have to brag about my youngest son Noah... I'm pretty sure he's the wisest kid in the world.

So over at the Campbell's website, they're looking for submissions from the wisest kids in the world.  And since my Noah was blessed with his mother's verbal abundance, he has lots to say about lots of things.  So, I sat him down for a little interview.  Here's how that went:

Me: So Noah, what do you think is the biggest problem in the world today?

Noah:  Bugs.  Because they get in the house and I can't get them out.

Me:  How do you think we should handle the scourge of bugs in the world?

Noah:  What's 'skurge'?

Me: It sort of means 'problem'.

Noah: Then you should have said 'problem'.

Me: That's fine, Noah.  Let's move on.  What do you think about the government shutdown everyone's talking about?

Noah:  Governments don't shut down, mommy.  They just need a time-out.

Me: That's a good idea, Noah.  What should happen after the time-out is all over?

Noah: If they are still being bad, they won't get snack.  And that would teach them a lesson because snack time is my favorite time.

Me:  What do you think Congress likes to eat for snack?

Noah:  Probably popsicles.  But they have to eat them outside or they will melt all over and their mommies will get mad.

Me:  Is there anything else you would like to add to our interview?

Noah:  No.  Can I watch 'Tom and Jerry' now or do I have to keep talking to you?

Me: *sighing deeply* You can go, Noah.  Thank you for your words of wisdom.

Noah: You're welcome.

As you can see, interviewing people (especially children who probably could use a time-out or two themselves) is not the easiest thing in the world.  But you've got to love Campbell's for thinking this widget up:  kids are experts at what makes them happy... and they're pretty smart about what makes other people happy too.  The Campbell's recipe destination is a life-saver for pleasing smart-alec children with yummy dinner recipes.

Now you've seen the wonder of my wisest kid.  I want to see yours!  Head over to the Campbell's website and submit some words of wisdom from your kid!  It is easy and fun and you'll love to see what everyone else submitted!

I love all the comments I get from you! Because of an insane amount of spam, I had to turn off anonymous commenting but I'd love it if you'd comment anyway!
